Sunny Days

We've had some beautful weather lately and we've spent a lot of time at the park. Here are some of the pictures we took.

Erin's first ride in the baby swing at the park. Turns out she didn't really need a long sleeve t-shirt, but she didn't mind. Gotta love the thighs. She sat in the swing for half an hour watching, laughing, playing. Erin loves watching the older kids play.

The marks on her head are from the headband. Poor baby!

If you ask Erin a question she just might do her "I dunno" for you.

Olivia loves having a real babydoll to push in the swing and she is Erin's favorite pusher.

I couldn't leave this one out. Tony and Olivia went to the school to practice riding her bike. I took this picture a good hour after they got home. Think she forgot she was still wearing her helmet?!

Drying Her Own Hair

Ahhh the day is near...when Olivia can dry her own hair. Her dad and I have dried her hair every night for so long. And I think she's close to being ready to give us the boot! Doesn't she look so sweet (and grown up)?

She even attempted the upside down technique. Way to go, Olivia!!

A Little Hail Never Hurt

We'll start with the cute pictures. Another picture of Erin in her dump truck. I laughed the entire time because her tongue was stuck in this position. Even after she got out she still stuck it out. Is she part puppy? Aren't her little feet so cute stuffed down in the bottom of the truck?!

When Erin starts to climb the stairs I shake my finger at her and shake my head no. I usually don't even have to say 'no'. Lately she has started mimicking me but instead of shaking her head she rocks her whole body from side to side. Guess she can't figure out how to just move her head. Luckily she hasn't said 'no' to me yet. It's coming....I'm sure.

Here's what we woke up to Saturday morning. Hail. Pretty big hail. Our cars were in the garage so all we need to have checked out is our roof. The hail was hitting the windows so hard that I was certain we'd get a broken window or two. But we didn't!

She's Walking!!!

Erin has definitely made our Valentine's Day a memorable one. Double click on the PLAY button to see the video. She just started taking one step here and there a couple of days ago. Now she's in the double digits!! Go ERIN!!

Toilet Paper

This is what I came home to this morning. Our little Bruta has left her mark. We already know she loves paper and I would have to say that now includes toilet paper.

This is where I eventually found her, watching Sprout while drinking her bottle.

These are from last night. Every single time that Erin is upstairs and I am at the computer downstairs, she sits and watches me. And whines. And whines. Until I get her. So, I bring her downstairs and she wants to sit at the computer with me. We sit and she grabs everything. Then I put her on the floor and she climbs up the chair I'm sitting on. And whines some more. I can't sit here without her nagging me.

But who could resist such a face?

more pictures

Erin had a fun day today. Here are some pictures...

She has figured out what to do with the remote.

Olivia has been sick and Erin was dying to love all over her...and eat her food.

She watched dad outside and got to sit outside in the beautiful weather. Love those chubby thighs!

And here it is!!! This is the best picture I could get of her doing her "I don't know".

Saturday...

Today my dad, otherwise known as Grandpa, came to visit. It was just the three of us because Tony wasn't home and my stepmom stayed at home. Erin went straight to him when he got here and sat on his lap for a long time.

After shopping and eating lunch Erin fell asleep in Grandpa's arms! Can I just say she doesn't even do that with me anymore. It's been several months since she has fallen asleep on me. I miss those days. Everytime I lay her down she's awake and she always manages to get herself to sleep.

After Grandpa left and a quick nap, Erin and I met Janette and Ryan at the mall so the kids could play. Tony met us there but we didn't get much time to play. They close the play area every day at 2 and 6 for cleaning. Doesn't she look happy??

Erin was the youngest one playing, but she didn't seem to notice. She loved the giant grapefruit.

Lookin for a Bald Boy

My Aunt Sheila gave Erin this cute shirt. I think it speaks for itself. Know any cute bald boys?!?
I'm not usually into baby clothes that have writing, but some are hard to pass up. Thanks, Sheila.

Our Big Girl

Today Erin showed off a couple of her newest moves. I'd call them tricks, but they're not really that cool. Below she is reading her book. But she's on the move as you can see with the one leg under her just in case she needs to get up.

It got pretty warm this afternoon so I changed her into some cute denim shorts and her Disney prinesses onesie from Nana. She loves this watch. It was one of the first things I gave her when she started grabbing things off of the desk while I sat at the computer. Notice that she's in the middle of the room-- STANDING. Lately she wants to do nothing but stand. She has even started standing up in the bath tub!

Just another cute picture of my baby girl. Oh, you're still reading!! Great!

...She loves to watch Sprout. I like it too. Probably because Erin gets such a kick out of it. I really love that she likes the television. Me as a kid, my mom says she tried to get me to watch it, but I just wouldn't. I suppose I'm still that way.

Another sweet picture....hope you enjoyed them. : )

Olivia's Tent

Thanks to Olivia wanting to play in her Disney tent, we have some cute pictures. I'm sure you can figure out what's going on... Erin was playing nicely in the tent for a short while, then she started bugging Olivia. And Olivia kicked her out. The last two pictures are of Erin standing (and whining). She has been pulling up on everything for a couple of months, but now she is standing up all by herself without anything to hold on to!!! YAY Erin!!

Nothing Much Goin On

Well, as you're about to see, there's not much goin on at the Nese house. But, I thought I might as well put some new pictures on our blog.

Erin has gotten really good at showing her tongue when you ask "where's your tongue". I love how she wags it around.

This was after Erin ate a blueberry muffin and some goldfish. She had a hidden stash of crumbs in her jammies.

She's learning how to drink from a sippy cup. Although it doesn't look like it, she knows to hold it up to get a drink. I didn't expect her to realize that quite so soon. This is the kid that never holds her bottle.
Another picture with the new cup. I just liked this one because it shows her chubby little cheeks.
